Dr. Drummond offers a range of testing services for children and adolescents. Keeping the child’s experience as her priority, Dr. Drummond ensures that assessments are tailored to the individual’s needs in a warm and welcoming environment.
Psychological and Neuropsychological Assessments
A comprehensive psychological evaluation is a vital tool in identifying the causes of behavioral, emotional or academic challenges in children and adolescents. Dr. Drummond assesses a variety of factors, including cognitive skills, language functioning, visual-spatial skills, attention and memory skills, executive functioning, academic skills, and social-emotional-behavioral functioning. Each series of tests is tailored to the needs of the individual client.
Joint Admissions Testing Program (JATP)
Dr. Drummond participates in the Joint Admissions Testing Program (JATP), which provides cognitive evaluations for children applying to kindergarten through fifth grades to participating private schools in the Atlanta area. The test is administered on a one-on-one basis by licensed psychologists, and takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes to complete.
The JATP process
Go to the JATP website and read the information about the testing process. We have a new procedure this year and you will be able to complete the application and send it electronically to me at drcaroldrummond.jatp@gmail.com. I will then send you an invoice with a link to pay with PayPal. If you prefer you can also print out the application and mail it to me with the appropriate fee. After I receive both your application and payment, my office will be in touch via e-mail with your child’s appointment information.
